Georgian Dance Theatre was founded ten years ago, but has very big success in Georgia and in neighboring countries. It has its own style of dancing Georgian Folk Dances. Georgian choreography incorporates different types of dances: solo, double, mass, women and men, as well as mixed dances. Among them the group distinguish the dances with social, entertainment, war and lyrical themes. Since the founding of the group in 2000 it has shared the richness of Georgian cultural heritage, Georgian folk life through the music and dance with audience in various countries of the world. Artists perform traditional dances representing various time periods of Georgian history, from the ancient times to the dances of 19th-20th century. The talent of the dancers and rich expression in choreography let them share joy of life and capture the hearts of millions people.

Georgian Award of Best Dance Group - 2006 on the Iliko Sukhishvili Competition, "Golden Eagle 2006" - Laureate Award, prize "Golden Eagle" and Gold medals for all members of the group.  Also group has a big success in Turkey, Israel, Armenia and Scotland.
